Chris joined the Wylie Vet team in November 2012 at just 18 years of age. He spent around seven years as a vet tech, a few years as a surgical technician, and worked his way up to become Hospital Manager in April 2023. Chris has two dogs: Byndi, an adorably silly samoyed who looks like a small cloud and prefers sleeping so deeply that she appears dead; and Sprout, a pug of many names, including Brussel Sprout, Sprouty, Sproot, Lil’ Monster, Tiny Jerk, Punk, and Madam Sprout of Brussels. In his free time, Chris pursues hobbies such as camping, hiking, reading, listening to podcasts, playing Dungeons and Dragons, whittling, and woodcarving. Additionally, Chris enjoys birding, and is proud to have photographed a Belted Kingfisher as well as the Painted Buntings in his backyard. He cares deeply about each team member and is our fearless leader; we’re very grateful to have him!
